Members of ace rehearse for the concert.
We're sure you'll agree the latest organisation to join our campaign is just ace, writes Gary Moug.
Artistic Concert Experiences (ace) was set up in 2000 with the plan of tapping into the interest in the big shows brought to the Edinburgh Playhouse by touring companies.
The group set about establishing a chorus to perform in concert venues accross Scotland.
The non-profit-making company now boasts 140 singers from all over the country and a professional 40-piece orchestra performing songs from West End shows including Phantom Of The Opera and Miss Saigon.
ace are staging their third Musicals for All concerts this year, with performances in Glasgow and Edinburgh, and have promised to donate all profits to our [CHAS] appeal.
Rona McKenzie, ace's finance director, said, "One of our Choir members has a son who spent a lot of time in Yorkhill Children's Hospital last year battling cancer, so we decided it would be nice to choose a children's charity.
"I stay in Kirkcaldy and have had the opportunity to visit Rachel House. I was very impressed and I know children's hospices provide a great support for ill children and their families.
"I don't want to put a figure on how much we hope to raise as it might bring bad luck, but we raised £3500 for Scottish Prostate Cancer Support Group last year."
